HINDU NABA BARSHA 2022 ; KNOW IN DETAIL

(The quiver) : National New Year also known as Hindu Nababarsha ,every year, the Hindu New Year begins on the Shukla side of the month of Chaitra. From this day on, the good times of rituals, festivals, etc. are decided throughout the year. The month of Chaitra is considered to be the first month of the Hindu calendar.

Hindu  Nababarsha celebrations express our National sentiment and heritage. The festival is celebrated to spread the emotion of gratitude amongst the people as well as to show respect to the harvest of the year.

Chaitra Shukla Pratipada is known as beginning day of creation by Brahma according to Hindu philosophy and mythology. According to time and space it is more scientific as Hindu Panchanga Calculated more accurately than other by practice.

New Year’s celebrations from different communities are also different, and their importance is different between different cultures in India.

The Hindu New Year in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka is celebrated as Gudi Padwa. Punjab’s Baisakhi and Sindhi are celebrated as Cheti Chandi. Everyone has different ways of celebrating it. This time, the Hindu New Year begins on April 2, 2022.

People offer prayers on this day for a happy and prosperous year. The new day begins by offering first prayer to Lord Ganesha.
