NO RED SINGAL FOR CONTINUOUS HIKE IN PETROL ,DIESEL PRICES: PETROL RISES TO RS 111.82 IN BHUBANESWAR TODAY

Bhubaneswar (The Quiver) : No red signals shown to daily rising prices of  Petrol and diesel yet. This is the 13th increase in fuel prices within 15 days. Petrol and diesel prices are hiked again by 80 paise a litre each, taking the total increase in rates in the last two weeks to Rs 9.20 per litre.

Petrol rate in the country’s capital , Delhi will now cost Rs 104.61 per litre as against Rs 103.81 previously, while diesel rates have gone up from Rs 95.07 per litre to Rs 95.87, according to a price notification of state fuel retailers.

Rates have been increased across the country and vary from state to state depending upon the incidence of local taxation.

The people of Capital City Bhubaneswar will have to compromise with the expensive petrol rates , Today the petrol rate is recorded to be  Rs 111.82 per litre while the diesel rate is recorded at Rs 101.50 per litre. The petrol and diesel rate have risen by 86 paisa and 85 paisa respectively in the last 24 hours.

The petrol and diesel rates in Cuttack have also increased and are recorded at Rs 111.99 and Rs 101.73 respectively.

Yesterday the proceedings in Rajya Sabha was adjourned due to opposition party members protests against the continuous hike in petrol and diesel prices. Hope soon steps will be taken to put a full stop on continuous increasing fuel prices.
