MANJULATA KANHAR IS ELECTED AS DEPUTY MAYOR OF BMC

Bhubaneswar (The Quiver) : Manjulata kanhar is elected as the Deputy Mayor of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation(BMC) . She is the Corporator of Ward no.22.

Putting all speculations to an end the Biju Janata Dal coined the name of Manjulata Kanhar , as its Deputy Mayor.

Educational Qualification of Kanhar : Kanhar is a post-graduate in political science from Sambalpur University.

After taking over the charge of Deputy Mayor officially and she thanked the residents of the Capital city.  Kanhar said, “I would like to thank all the residents of Bhubaneswar. I will always be with them and work for their development.” 

Taking about her plans of developments for Bhubaneswar , she said that her first priority will be to address the water logging issue in different low-lying areas in the city. “With the support of all, I will try to take forward the development works of BMC,” she assured.
