DELHI GOVERNMENT RELEASES NEW PRECAUTIONARY GUIDELINES; FINE AMOUNT INCREASED : KNOW IN DETAIL

New Delhi (The Quiver) :The expected fourth phase of covid-19 prevailing over India. The rising Covid cases in Delhi and other parts of the country is clearly indicating if early precautionary steps are not taken ,the situation may be worst like the past two years.

Viewing upon the situation Arvind Kejriwal-led administration has issued a new set of standard operating procedures. Go through the following –

1.Masks have been mandatory for students and staffers.

2. Delhi Disaster Management Authority is likely to bring back the penalty of Rs 500 for not wearing masks.

3. Testing will be carried out on a war footing.

4. More emphasis on vaccination for eligible age groups.

5. Schools will not be closed.

6. The SOPs must be displayed properly.

7. Social gatherings will be monitored closely.

After a sharp drop in Covid cases across the nation on Tuesday, the number suddenly rose as India reported 2,067 new patients on Wednesday over the previous 24 hours. While on Monday, 2,183 infections were reported, on Tuesday the Union health ministry reported 1,247 new patients and a fatality.

The Delhi government has asked people not to panic but to continue following the precautionary guidelines to remain safe from covid-19 infections.
