ANOTHER AYODHYA CONTROVERSY IN INDIA AFTER GYANVAPI MOSQUE SURVEY
The existence of Kashi Viswanath Temple inside Mosque is foresighted by people after the strict warnings given by the Gyanvapi mosque committee to not conduct a survey and videograph the interiors of the mosque . Many even say that the Gyanvapi Mosque is built after demolishing Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
Varanasi (The Quiver) : Another Ayodhya controversy may soon arise in Uttar Pradesh . Following the order of Varanasi court given on Friday, videography and survey was conducted in some areas of Gyanvapi Masjid, in the Gyanvapi-Shrinagar Gauri complex . However this survey was not welcomed by Abhay Nath Yadav , the counsel of the mosque arrangement committee . He alleged that the court appointed commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra is doing partiality.
A survey and videography of Gyanvapi Masjid was ordered by the court after a plea was filed by Rakhi Singh , Laxmi devi, and others demanding permission for daily worship and performing rituals at Shrinagar Gauri, Lord ganesh , Lord Hanuman and Nandi located on the outer wall of the Gyanvapi mosque.
AIMIM chief ,Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement comes a day after the court Commisioner reached Varanasi ‘s Kashi Vishwanath temple and Gyanvapi Mosque earlier today to survey and videograph the premises .
Condemning the Varanasi court’s order, Asaduddin Owaisi said in a tweet, “This order to survey Kashi’s Gyanvapi Masjid* is open violation of 1991 Places of Worship Act, which prohibits conversion of religious places.”
“[The] SC [Supreme Court] in Ayodhya judgement had said the Act protects ‘secular features of Indian polity which is 1 of basic features of Constitution’,” Asaduddin Owaisi said.
As per the court’s order, the videography and survey inside the mosque’s premises, scheduled to be held on May 7 around 3 pm.
S M Yasin, joint secretary of Anjuman Intezamiya Masajid, had already warned last week, “No one will be allowed to enter the mosque.”

How Owaisi argument “This order to survey Kashi’s Gyanvapi Masjid* is open violation of 1991 Places of Worship Act, which prohibits conversion of religious places”, can be justified? if the survey reveals that the mosque is made upon the existence of temple. If the mosque is independently built without interfering with the temple premises then why the Muslim committee of the mosque is strictly objecting the survey in interior parts of the mosque?
Another statement given by Owasisi , “SC in Ayodhya judgement had said the Act protects “secular features of Indian polity which is 1 of basic features of Constitution”1/2”,.The court orders for the survey to find out Whether the Kashi Viswanath temple and Gyanvapi Masjid are secular features or not . Then how Varanasi court violated 1991 Worship Act and went against SC judgement.
