New Delhi (The Quiver): An undesirable incident took place in Texas on Tuesday. A 18 year old teenage gunman killed at least 19 young children and two adults at an elementary school in Texas.
The gunman is identified as Salvador Ramos, who open fired in the heavily Latino town of Uvalde. This incident is responded by heavy outpouring of grief and anger. A demand is done to review the gun laws in the country and specific changes needed to be done to avoid repetition of such brutal acts of killing innocents.

The state senator Roland Gutierrez confirmed that the gunman had hinted on social media about the attack by captioning ” kids should watch out “.
According to reports ,Before heading to school , Ramos shot his grandmother using the two military -style rifles he had purchased on his birthday .
What happened on the spot?
According to the spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety,The gunner crashed his car outside the school around 11.30 am and ran into the building .
Two local police officers also counter attacked to stop the shooter. During the exchange of gunfire the officers were shot.
Teams of Border Patrol agents rushed to the school, however, one agent working nearby entered the school without waiting for backup and shot and killed the gunman, reported AP citing a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity. The report suggests that the agent was wounded in the encounter but able to walk out of the school.
