STADIUM WILL REMAIN OPEN TILL 10 PM : DELHI CM

New Delhi (The Quiver) :Arvind Kejriwal -led Delhi government has extended the training time for athletes after learning about an IAS had emptied Thyagraj stadium of athletes to walk with his dog.

Amid the allegation of athletes at Delhi’s Thyagraj Stadium having to cut short their practice after an IAS officer sought to walk his dog there, the Arvind Kejriwal-led government has ordered all stadiums to remain open for players till 10 pm.

As per the reports Delhi Revenue Secretary Sanjeev Khirwar was using the Thyagraj Stadium to walk his dog. Athletes were allegedly asked to wind up early to facilitate the walk.

However stadium administrator Anil Chaudhary denying the allegations said,” “The official time for athletes to train is till 7 pm. After that, the coaches and athletes leave. No one was asked to leave early”. He declined to confirm or deny whether Khirwar was using the facility.
