ED RAID ON SATYENDAR JAIN’S PREMISES ; SEIZES RS 2.85 CRORE CASH, 133 GOLD COINS

New Delhi (The Quiver) : On Tuesday ,The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized Rs 2.82 crore cash and 133 gold coins weighing 1.80 kg from the premises of of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain.

ED has conducted searches on 6.6.2022 under PMLA,2002 at the premises of Satyendar Kumar Jain and others. Various incriminating documents, digital records, cash amounting to Rs. 2.85 Crore and 133 gold coins weighing 1.80 kg in total from unexplained source have been seized. pic.twitter.com/WYSDPkPrXN

The searches were carried out on Monday.

Jain was arrested after the Enforcement Directorate in April this year attached immovable properties worth Rs 4.81 crore in the money laundering case related to a Kolkata-based company.

Delhi CM arvind Kejriwal defending his minister and hitting out at the centre conducted ED raids against Satyendar jain and his aides said,” “At present, the Prime Minister is with full force behind the Aam Aadmi Party – especially the governments of Delhi and Punjab… Lie after lie… You have the power of all agencies, but God is with us.”
