BRIBE COST OF SON’S DEAD BODY IS RS 50,000 ,WATCH THE VIRAL VIDEO

Bihar(The Quiver) : It is inform our readers that now a new bribe cost may be imposed by government hospital to release dead body to family, and the cost may be charged up to Rs 50,000. No we are not faking to our readers. This inhuman action occurred in reality in a government hospital of Bihar where a bribe amount of Rs 50,000 was charged on parents to release their son’s dead body after post mortem.

An employee of the post-mortem department of the government hospital had allegedly asked for Rs 50,000 to release the youth’s body. Being unable to afford such a huge amount of money to get back son’s dead body , the parents were forced to beg. A video of a Bihar couple begging for money to pay a Rs 50,000 bribe to a government hospital to get their son’s body released is going viral on social media platforms.

Mahesh Thakur’s mentally-challenged son, Sanjeev Thakur, went missing on May 25 from Aahar village in the Tajpur police station area.

According to allegations , On June 6, the body was found by the Musrigharari police station. On June 7, when the family went to identify his body, the post-mortem department staffer, Nagendra Mallick, refused to hand over the body and demanded Rs 50,000 to release the dead body.

Shortly after the video went viral, the Samastipur Sadar Hospital administration sent the body along with a watchman to the family’s house.

On being questioned about this misconduct, Samastipur civil surgeon Dr SK Chaudhary said, “The staffer may ask for money, but he cannot demand Rs 50,000.” However, the hospital worker has denied asking for money.

“There has been a history of asking for money in the past too. Strict action will be taken against the accused. We have formed a team to investigate the matter,” he further added.

The DM in-charge, Vinay Kumar, refusing the allegations , said it was a conspiracy to defame the administration.

Political strategist, Prashant Kishore condemning this inhuman action shared a video on Twitter and wrote, “Shame on humanity, yet #NitishKumar ji . The claim of good governance remains intact!!”
