Prophet Row: FIRs Filed Against Nupur Sharma, Naveen Jindal, Saba Naqvi And Others

New Delhi (The Quiver) : The Delhi Police has registered FIRs against suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, expelled leader Naveen Jindal and journalist Saba Naqvi and others who are allegedly involved in spreading hate messages amid the row over the comments made about the Prophet.

The FIRs are filed against Nupur Sharma, Naveen Jindal, Shadab Chauhan, Sab Naqvi, Maulana Mufti Nadeem, Abdur Rehman, Gulzar Ansari, and Anil Kumar Meena.

Police have booked Nupur Sharma under Sections 153, 295 and 505 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The FIR has been filed by the Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operation (IFSO) unit of the Special Cell of Delhi Police against people for “inciting various groups and creating situations that are detrimental to the maintenance of public tranquillity in the country.”
