OSEPA PLANS ON ACTIVITIES TO BE CARRIED OUT IN SCHOOLS AFTER SUMMER VACATION; KNOW IN DETAIL

Bhubaneswar (The Quiver) : Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA)  prepared comprehensive plan for the activities to be carried out for the students of Class 1 to 8 in schools after the summer vacation during the academic year 2022-23.

OSEPA state director Anupam Shah by issuing a letter to all District Education Officers-cum-DPCs , has asked the concerned officials to initiate special measures to cover 100 % syllabus through a well-planned academic calendar.

Activities to be undertaken in schools after summer vacation:

On the reopening day of the schools after summer vactaion ,Headmasters of  schools may address a meeting with all teachers on how to complete the syllabus in systematic manner, regarding preparation of scheme of lesson, time table lesson plan.

The books developed under FLN (Class-I to III) and LCP books (Class-IV to VIII) will be administrated along with text books of the concerned grade.

Time table must be hang in each class.

Alter analysis of results of end line tests, care should be taken by the subject teachers for students securing low marks. At the same, students having high scores should be given opportunity to explore their knowledge through supplementary materials, creative working quiz debate etc.

Peer group learning should be encouraged and facilitated  by the teachers.They can take up innovative ideas if required to fill the gap in learning loss of the children.

CRCC of the concerned cluster must give online support to teachers and track class-wise subject-wise results of all schools in the cluster.

Safety and security of the children should be ensured.

Child-friendly school environment should be ensured in every school.

Class supervision should be made by the HM of the school, it should be recorded in the supervision register and communicated to the concerned teacher.

Written work correction Register should be verified by the headmaster of the school and communicated to the concerned teacher.

Lesson note of all the teachers should be verified by the headmaster and record the remarks.
