Shushila, Vijay and Harjinder Bagged Three Medals For India

(The Quiver): On the fourth day of CWG 2022, 27-year old Judoka Shushila Devi Likmabam bagged the silver medal in the women’s 48 category which turns out to be her second medal in CWG history.

With a total weight of 212 (93 in snatch and 119 in clean and jerk), India’s Harjinder Kaur shined with bronze medal in the women’s 71 kg weightlifting event.

Whereas, Vijay Kumar’s bronze in men’s 60kg division Judo event completely a memorable day for India at the Commonwealth Games 2022.

Meanwhile at the table tennis event, India made their final berth by defeating Nigeria in the semi-final clash.

Assuring a medal at the lawn bowls event, four women of India comprising of Lovely Choubey, Rupa rani Tirkey, Nayanmoni Saika and Pinky will go head to head with South-Africa  in the final of Women’s four event.

India remain well placed at 6 position with three gold, three silver and three bronze.
