India To Face Pakistan On August 28th In Asia Cup 2022
(The Quiver): Cricket awaits the much anticipated match in the history as India meets Pakistan on August 28th at the Asia cup 2022. The tournament is scheduled to happen in United Arab Emirates.
India have been grouped with Pakistan and one qualifier in Group A. The Group B consists of Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
The final of the tournament is set to staged on September 11th in Dubai.
“The wait is finally over as the battle for Asian supremacy gets started on August 27th with the final to be played on September 11th.” BCCI Secretary Jay shah said.
On September 28, Sri Lanka will face off against Afghanistan in Dubai, while the defending champions India will face off against arch-rivals Pakistan the following day at the same location.
It will serve as an ideal preparation for the ICC World T20 2022.
