22 DRUGS DISQUALIFIED

CDSCO rejected 22 medicinal drugs from coming to market, know about the drugs ,why these drugs are rejected ,from this report.

(The Quiver) Central Drugs Standard Control Organization has disqualified 22 medicine samples in a random drug sample test. CDSCO has shown red signal to these 22 drug samples basing upon the latest drug safety alert.

Analysis and tests conducted by CDSCO on a total of 1102 samples, out of which 1080 samples are able to the meet up the standard test quality but 22 drugs samples were dropped down the reach mark and are declared as Not of Standard Quality (NSQ). The five laboratories in which the samples collected were tested are CDL Kolkata, CDTL Mumbai, RDTL Chandigarh, CDTL Hyderabad.

The areas upon which they rejected these samples are  the failure of Sterility test, failure of dissolution test ,failure of assay, failure of moisture content test.

The drugs samples namely Eurokem Laboratories’ Glimepiride Tablets , Bharat Parenterals’ Phytomenadione Injection IP 10mg/ml(Vitamin K1 Injection)1 ml , Zee Laboratories’LECETZY(Levocetirizine Tablets I.P.) ,Danish Health Care’s Dixogyl-400(Metronidazole Tablets IP 400 MG) , Health Biotech’s Lignocaine and Adrenaline Injection IP ( ACAINE ADR INJECTION) and others are banned by CDSCO.
