Liz Truss continues to march ahead in the UK polls

(The Quiver): On Thursday, After maintaining a 32 point lead over his counterpart Rishi Sunak, Lizz Truss continues to hold firm lead in the race to elected Conservative party leader and Britain Prime minister.

In the survey which carries a total of 961 party members, 60% of votes have gone of the foreign secretary and 28% has gone to British politician Rishi Sunak.

According to the sources, the website says that 60% of respondents indicated they had voted , while 40% said they hadn’t.

The main problem continues to be the cost of living crisis, as evidenced by the latest inflation data for July, which were issued earlier in the day and showed a 40-year high level of 10.1% amid skyrocketing prices for food and necessities. How the problem must be tackled in the near future is the key dividing line between the two candidates.

In order to curb the inflation rates in the country, Liz Truss made the introduction of a moratorium on the green energy levy which will placed on every bills. By reducing the taxes we would save lives of people on their bills.

Election results will be announced in time for the House of Commons to resume its session on September 5.
