Son Heung-Min’s Hattrick leads Tottenham to Emphatic Win

(The Quiver): On Saturday, Son Heung-Min scored a quick hat trick after coming off the bench to help Tottenham Hotspur defeat Leicester City 6-2 who are currently in last place in the English Premier League.

The South-Korean hattrick lifted Tottenham to second place in the English Premier league standings.

After been axed for failing to score goals, it was an ideal redemption for the 30-year-old South Korean footballer.

“I was quite disappointed, but I was unconcerned because I knew the goal will come. I put in a lot of effort and constantly wanted to support the group.

“I always have wonderful staff and great supporters behind me. This helps me maintain my faith and keeps me resilient throughout these trying times. I have to admit that the incredible support is making me emotional. Son said.

Youri Tielemans’ penalty gave Leicester the lead, but Harry Kane’s back-post header gave Spurs the lead soon after.

Eric Dier, a defender for Tottenham, headed in a corner to give his team the lead, but James Maddison of Leicester answered with a brilliant effort which went past the goalkeeper Hugo Lloris with score line 2-2.

After the halftime, Tottenham midfielder scored a goal to take Hotspurs in the lead. After that Son Heung Min steal the show with his excellence in the field with a hattrick.
