Infosys Co-founder praises Rishi Sunak on being UK Prime Minister

(The Quiver): In response to his son-in-law Rishi Sunak’s selection as Prime Minister of Britain, millionaire businessman and co-founder of Infosys Narayana Murthy wished him well on the new endeavour.

“Best wishes to Rishi. We are happy for him and hope he succeeds. We have faith that he will put the interests of the British people first.” Narayana Murthy said.

As the nation struggles with the economic crisis and energy issues, the elect PM of Indian descent will assume control of the leadership. He served as chancellor of the UK under the Boris Johnson administration, and he is well-known for his economic strategies throughout the pandemic.

On Sunday, he won the contest to lead both United Kingdom and the Conservative Party and will soon become the country’s first prime minister of Indian descent.

Anoushka and Krishna are the daughters of Rishi Sunak, a Stanford and Oxford University graduate who wed Akshata Murthy in 2009.
